If you have attempted enough Tik Tok challenges, cleaned the apartment more often than you’d like, and played the same games over and over again, now may be a good time to switch things up!
Add these fun and productive at-home activities to your to-do list.
Plant A Container Garden
Now is the perfect time to start that garden you’ve been talking about. While you may not have the outdoor space for rows of vegetables, it is still possible to grow your own fresh foods with container gardening. You can start by purchasing pots or a small planter box and seeds from your local hardware store. Usually, tomatoes and herbs can be grown without taking up too much space. All they need is the light from a window or even better, a little area on your patio or balcony.
Show Off Your Creativity
The opportunity has arrived for everyone in the family to show off their inner Picasso (or at least try to). Craft stores, as well as online retailers, offer paint-by-numbers kits that are easy for anyone to create a beautiful work of art. The kits include a canvas, paints, brushes, and easy directions to follow, so mistakes are impossible. All Paint By Numbers is one online retailer you can purchase from so you don’t even have to leave the house! Spend an afternoon creating a painting that looks as if it’s worth a million bucks then show it off by finding a spot on the wall adding to your decor.
Get To Organizing
This may not be everyone’s idea of fun, but you can turn it into one. Let each person start with their own dedicated area of the apartment, maybe a bedroom or the kitchen. Start by pulling everything out of the drawers and closets so you can take inventory. Challenge each person to pick at least five things to get rid of or (even better) donate to a thrift store. Whoever can part with the most items gets to choose the next Netflix movie!Back to all posts
